Complete visual guide
A reviewable path from authorized footage to finished output.
ClearFrame keeps the upload, detection, mask, preview, processing, and retention decisions in one connected project instead of hiding them behind a single button.

Prepare the project
- STEP 01
Create an account
Register, verify your email, and open the project dashboard.
- STEP 02
Upload authorized footage
Choose an MP4, MOV, or WebM file you own or are permitted to modify, then confirm that authorization.
- STEP 03
Analyze the video
ClearFrame validates the container and records duration, dimensions, frame rate, codecs, and file integrity before editing begins.
Find and define the region
- STEP 04
Review detection
Inspect ranked candidates for persistent logos, timestamps, subtitles, and overlays. Accept, reject, retry, or switch to manual selection.
- STEP 05
Create or refine the mask
Use Rectangle, Polygon, Brush, and Eraser controls, then tune expansion and feathering.
- STEP 06
Review tracking
Use the static-mask baseline or inspect motion-aware propagation where supported. Scene changes and low confidence remain review points.
Preview, process, and retain
- STEP 07
Generate a preview
Render a short representative sample and compare the original with the processed result.
- STEP 08
Start full processing
Review the server-authoritative credit cost, approve the job, and follow queue and encoding status.
- STEP 09
Download the output
Use a temporary signed link for the H.264/AAC result after the job completes.
- STEP 10
Delete or retain the project
Remove the project yourself or allow configured retention rules to expire originals, previews, failed artifacts, and outputs.
Next step
See the workflow with your own footage.
Start on the Free plan and review the mask and preview before any full processing job.
